Welcome to my AS media foundation portfolio.
The task that I was given was to create a music magazine. My aim was to create a magazine that looked professional so before I could start the production process I had to research other magaiznes within this industry. Before I undertook this task, I completed a premilary task which was to create a school magazine. (This can be viewed by either clicking on the link in the sidebar or by scrolling to the bottom of my blog.) This enabled me to learn how to use the software and to also find out the forms and conventions of magazines, which I would need to incorporate in my music magazine.

Do you think my front cover looks too busy?

How could I improve my front cover?

The feedback that I got back was that I could add more colour and give the word Emily a different font like I have done for ACE. Another comment that I received was about putting an exclamation mark at the end of 'get your free CD inside this issue' so that it stands out and it is more exciting.

Do you think my double page spread fits in with my genre of pop/indie?

How could I improve this page?

The feedback that I got was that I could use the same font that I used for the word ACE for their names in the interview. I also got a comment about having an introduction about them before the interview. One person said that I should edit the word 'exclusive' so that it becomes a bit clearer.
